7-Eleven, Circle K, Rutter's Launch Spicy Chicken Items This Summer
The convenience store industry has recently seen a wave of limited-time spicy chicken products: 7-Eleven introduced a spicy chicken sandwich, Circle K partnered with Pepsi to offer Flamin' Hot boneless wings, and Rutter's added several new spicy chicken items. Additionally, Kwik Trip collaborated with Mountain Dew on a new donut flavor, Stewart's launched a peanut butter cup, and UDF's Dulce De La Cruz ice cream entered grocery channels.

Recently, spicy chicken has become the focus of limited-time offerings (LTOs) in the convenience store industry. 7-Eleven, Circle K, and Rutter's have successively launched related new products, becoming the highlight of the latest menu updates.
Additionally, Kwik Trip partnered with a well-known soda brand to expand its donut category, Stewart's Shops added candy products, and United Dairy Farmers' celebrity collaboration ice cream expanded its distribution.
7-Eleven Joins the Chicken Sandwich Competition
7-Eleven has launched at select storesa new line of hot sandwiches, including a chicken sandwich and a cheesesteak sandwich.
The lineup includes a "Hot as Fire" spicy chicken sandwich seasoned with chili powder, a homestyle chicken sandwich, a limited-time Philadelphia cheesesteak (with thinly sliced steak, provolone cheese, sauteed onions, and bell peppers), and an Angus double cheeseburger on a brioche bun.
7-Eleven's Raise the Roost restaurant also introduced a limited-time Ultimate BBQ Chicken Sandwich, featuring saucy fried chicken topped with crispy pickles, pepper jack cheese, and bacon on a brioche bun.
The retailer also released a new Slurpee flavor—Mountain Dew Confetti Chill, created for 7-Eleven Day on July 11. The company stated the flavor features lemon birthday cake with vanilla frosting. This Slurpee will be available at select stores until August 29.
Circle K Teams Up with PepsiCo for Flamin' Hot Wings
Circle K has partnered with PepsiCo (which owns the snack brand Frito-Lay) to introduceFlamin' Hot Boneless Wings。
The limited-time item uses Cheetos' fiery Flamin' Hot seasoning, a flavor also found on other products like Jack Link's beef jerky and Lay's potato chips.
Gary Brant, vice president of foodservice for Circle K U.S., said in a press release that the product was introduced because customers are "seeking bolder, spicier flavors." As the retailer continues to expand and refine its foodservice program, Brant noted, "This collaboration is a prime example of the direction we're taking to elevate the Circle K food experience."
Rutter's Adds New Chicken Line

Rutter's expanded its chicken menu with a series of limited-time summer spicy fried chicken handhelds.
New options include: Nashville Hot Chicken Deluxe sandwich (with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and sauce on a Kaiser roll); Spicy Pepperoni Pepper Jack Chicken sandwich (with pepper jack cheese, pepperoni, coleslaw, and banana peppers on a toasted sub roll); and Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Wrap.
The retailer also began allowing customers to choose bone-in or boneless wings with their preferred sauces.
Kwik Trip Brings Mountain Dew Flavor to Bakery Items
Kwik Trip partnered with Mountain Dew to offer itspopular glazed donuta new flavor inspired by the well-known soda brand.
This limited-time flavor features a green glaze to match Mountain Dew's signature color.
Stewart's Expands Candy Line
Stewart's Shops has added a new item to its own candy line.
Stewart's Peanut Butter Cupexpands its private label, which already included dark chocolate raspberry bars, sea salt caramel chocolates, and several fudge products.
UDF Expands MLB Collaboration Ice Cream Distribution
United Dairy Farmers launched Dulce De La Cruz ice cream under its Homemade Brand earlier this year. Now, the ice cream is also hitting grocery store shelves.

A company spokesperson said that while UDF has previously placed some seasonal limited-time products in grocery stores, this is the first time such a celebrity collaboration product has been introduced to the grocery channel. The ice cream line pays tribute to Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz.
The flavor features caramel ice cream swirled with caramel sauce and will be available in 48-ounce tubs and 16-ounce pints.
