Loop Neighborhood Market Partners with Krispy Krunchy Chicken to Introduce Hot Food Menu at 12 Stores
Loop Neighborhood Market has partnered with Krispy Krunchy Chicken to offer the fried chicken brand's complete hot food menu at 12 California stores, integrated into the Loop app. The collaboration covers multiple cities including San Francisco and Sacramento, representing the latest move by convenience stores to respond to the rising share of food service.

According to NACS data, food service is expected to account for approximately 36% of in-store sales at convenience stores in 2025. The agreement between Loop and Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a move to target this revenue stream at the aforementioned 12 locations.
"Loop Neighborhood has redefined the convenience store experience with premium offerings and customer-centric service," said Brett Yates, Vice President of Chain and Business Development at Krispy Krunchy Chicken. "By integrating Krispy Krunchy Chicken's proven hot food program, Loop can attract new customer segments, increase dwell time, and drive repeat visits."
Krispy Krunchy Chicken's menu includes fried chicken, chicken tenders, Cajun chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, wings, honey biscuits, and sides.
Notably, of Loop's 63 locations in California, in addition to the 12 introducing Krispy Krunchy Chicken, many other stores have previously offered chicken menus through its own brand, Crunchy Munchy. According to the company's website, Crunchy Munchy is owned by Varish Goyal, CEO of Loop and Poppy Market.
In recent months, several retailers have also upgraded their food service programs, such as Pilot revamping its own program and BrakeTime entering franchise agreements with Little Caesars and Burger King.
